Commonly Used Materials for Automobile Wax Casting Parts

Wax casting parts that have the low density, good mechanical properties are often made into work pieces that can withstand the strong bumps and prevent vibration.

Wax casting parts can be used as work pieces working in low temperature (above -196 ℃), such like anti-magnetic parts, parts features good wear resistance and thermal conductivity, work pieces that have the least deformation after heating.

Generally, the commonly used materials are four types, which are zinc alloy, aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy and copper alloy, they are widely used in those casting parts, who have large batch demands and require surface plating.

Aluminum alloy is the most widely used material. Zinc alloy is easy aging. Zinc alloy will occur dimensional deformation when the temperature> 100 ℃ or <-10 ℃, so the applications are restricted by the work temperature.
