Automotive transmission after prolonged use may damage, the main losses of the transmission parts are the matching accessories wear, as well as the gearbox differential housing deformation and cracks, which will lead to reduced reliability of the clutch and cause failure, finally, resulting in broken automobile transmission.

Auto-off gears

Since the slide gears or combination that meshing with each other setting in the transmission process, the axial force generated in the gear surface is greater than the locking force (friction force on gear surface + self-locking force of shift fork), so that the gear is automatically pushed from the engaged state to the neutral position.

Random gears

Gap on the matching parts of the shift lever is too large to cause shift lever position misalignment.

Shift lever shakes

It is the transmission gear radial or axial shimmy that reflected on the shift lever.

Shifting difficulties

Synchronous element or locking element function failure.

Noise

Gear backlash is too large, the housing deformation causes impact; bearing damage or insufficient lubricant, incorrect specifications.

Oil spill

It can be caused by seal aging, housing deformation, bearing bore wear, shaft bending and deformation.
