The gearbox abnormal noise occurs when the vehicle is running at a constant speed, however, becomes more cluttered when the speed increasing. The noise also appeared in gear shifting. It may be caused by poor gear engagement in the transmission. If the noise is slight and uniform, the gearbox can continue to be used in running-in mode. If it is serious and uniform, the gearbox should be inspected and removed. If necessary, the automotive shift system parts should be readjusted or replaced.
It makes the abnormal sound when the engine is idling, but the sound will be more piercing when speeding up, and the gearbox even vibrates. Generally, it is caused by tooth surface flaking or tooth breakage.
