Gear shift fork material:

There are three main materials commonly used in gearbox shift forks, namely cast steel, forged steel and die-cast aluminum alloy.

As the weight of the product becomes more and more important, under the conditions of structure and strength, the gear shift fork should give priority to the die-cast aluminum alloy material. However, aluminum alloy forks must meet strength and stiffness requirements, and sometimes require increased volume. At present, the design of the internal space of the transmission at home and abroad is more and more compact. In order to avoid space interference and meet the design requirements, the steel fork has become the best choice for people.

The purpose of the gear shift fork:

1. The function is to dial the synchronizer ring and realize the combination and separation of each forward gear;

2. The reverse gear has no synchronizer, and the fork directly shifts the reverse gear, which has reached the switching reverse gear.
