　　Its structure will change due to the different structural forms of the drive axle. Only the drive shaft used in non-disconnecting drive axle is rigid. Segmented drive shafts are used in steering drive axle and disconnect drive axle and connected by universal joints.

　　According to the different supporting forms of the driving shaft and the hub of the driving wheel on the axle housing and the stress of the driving shaft, the types adopted are different. Today's automobiles basically adopt two types, namely, full floating driving shaft and semi-floating driving shaft.
